How do I describe rain droplets on pine needles in a poem?

I am trying to figure out how do describe "Droplets form on the end of pine needles, like..." I am stuck and I can not really figure out what to write. I had "like water on the side of a cold drink" and "like a leaking sink faucet." The only thing I do not feel like either of those really describe what I am looking for. Any suggestions?
