What should i do if the guy im inlove with isn't inlove with me?

'm 17. I met this guy named Matt like 2 years ago. Matt and i met cus we were neighbors.. we did intimate things at first, then we dated for 3 months and continued doing that then i moved away. we kept seeing each other until he found someone else. He broke up with her eventually. I know he loves me but he's not in love with me. I want a future with him also. And my mom wont let me date him because he does drugs and he's 22. Please help.
